How much does a renovation cost?
It depends on the area, the building’s condition and the finish level. That is why we offer a free site visit and an itemised quote with no obligation.
Is the site visit really free?
Yes. The site visit and quote are free within Riyadh, with no obligation.
How long does a renovation take?
One bathroom usually takes one to two weeks; villas depend on scope. You get a clear timeline with the quote.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes, we provide a warranty on workmanship and finishes, with its duration and terms set out in the contract for each type of work.
Can I live in the home during the work?
It depends on the work. For partial jobs we phase the work so you can stay; for full renovations we recommend moving out temporarily.
Do I need a municipal permit?
Some works such as extensions and structural changes need a Balady permit. We tell you during the site visit whether your project needs one.
Do you work outside Riyadh?
We mainly work in Riyadh and its surroundings. For larger projects in other cities, contact us to discuss.
Who buys the materials?
We can supply materials within the quote, or you can choose them and we install. Either way we help you choose.
How long does a bathroom renovation take?
A single bathroom usually takes one to two weeks depending on scope. We give you a clear timeline after the site visit.
Why is waterproofing important before tiling?
Most bathroom leaks happen under the tiles. Waterproofing stops water reaching the ceiling below and the walls.
Can I renovate my villa in phases?
Yes. We agree priorities with you and split the work into phases to suit your budget and needs.
Is renovating cheaper than demolishing and rebuilding?
In most cases yes, if the structure is sound. The engineering inspection decides.
What is the best façade cladding material?
It depends on budget and style. Stone lasts longest, GRC gives classic detail, and ACP is modern and light. We explain the options during the site visit.
When should I rewire my home?
If the building is over 20 years old, breakers trip often or sockets get hot. An inspection shows whether you need full or partial rewiring.
How do I know if a crack is structural?
Wide or diagonal cracks above doors and windows, or cracks that grow over time, are usually structural and need an urgent engineering inspection.
Do you design or only build?
Both. We prepare a design concept and agree materials and colours with you before work starts.
Do I need a permit for an extension?
Most extensions need a permit through the Balady platform. We tell you during the site visit whether your project needs one.
Do you offer annual maintenance contracts?
Yes. We arrange a periodic contract based on the building size and needs. Contact us for a quote.
My pool keeps losing water. Why?
It may be normal evaporation or a leak in the shell, balance tank or pipes. We test it and find the cause before any work.
